Excel’s charts include text in many places — the title, legend, axis labels, and data series labels, for instance. To change the default font for these text objects, you may approach the task by formatting each type of object individually.

Beginning with the release of Office 2000, Word began using a multiple document interface (MDI) in place of the single document interface (SDI) used in earlier versions. With SDI, your open Word documents are represented by a single button on the Windows taskbar; to switch between open documents, you need to use Word’s Window menu. In Word’s MDI, each of your open Word documents is represented by an individual taskbar button, enabling you to switch between open documents using the Windows taskbar.
